Qu'est ce que le P.C.U. ou le SchH (Schutz Hund)

C'est l' association de 3 disciplines ( pistage, obéissance, mordant "sportif") menant a l'obtention d'un brevet.
Souvent qualifié de 'triathlon canin', il se compose de 3 niveaux (classe I, II, III), ensuite le chien ayant obtenu le brevet de classe III peut concourir pour l'obtention d'un C.A.C."I".T (titre de champion "international" de travail).
Chaque discipline est côté sur 100 points.
Le pointage maximum par concours est de 300 points.

What is the SchH (Schutz Hund)

It is the association of 3 separate tests (tracking, obedience, protection).
Often called "triathlon for dogs".
It includes 3 levels : class I, II, III.
When the dog succeeded in the class III can compete to obtain a title of champion of work.
Each discipline is evaluated on 100 points.
The maximum score by competition is 300 points.

A - Pistage/Tracking

- Une piste est tracée par des pas successifs formant des lignes droites et des angles. Des objets sont placés a différents endroits sur le tracé. A l'ordre "cherche" le chien suit la piste et marque les objets (en se couchant par exemple), le conducteur à ce moment, se place au coté du chien et signifie au juge que l'objet est trouvé en le levant. Le chien piste soit libre ou munit d'une longe de pistage de 10 mètres (distance min. entre le chien et le conducteur).

B - Obéissance/Obedience

- Différents exercices d'obéissances sont enchaînés sans laisse suivant la classe.
Les concurrents après présentations vont soit débuter les exercices ou mettre le chien au couché libre

C - Défense/Protection

- Sur un terrain d'environ 100M*80M sont échelonnées dans sa longueur 6 caches à raison de trois par côté.
L' homme d'Attaque ( H.A.) est revêtu d'un costume spécifique (différent de ceux utilisés en ring et autres), de sa manche de protection, d'une badine molle (sorte de matraque molle recouverte de cuir).
Il se positionne hors de vue du chien dans la dernière cache. Le conducteur, sur ordre du juge, envoi le chien vers la première cache a effectuer, le chien doit se détacher rapidement et explorer ( en contournant) les caches dans l'ordre pré définit, jusqu'a la dernière
cache où l'homme d'attaque se trouve.
Là le chien doit désigner l'H.A. en aboyant et le garder sans le mordre. Sur ordre du juge le conducteur se rend vers sont chien
puis, le rappel au pied et se place en position pour le prochain exercice.

- On a field of about 100 x 80m are laid out 6 hiding-places (blind).
The helper puts on a special jacket, a protection sleeve and a leather stick.
The helper may not be seen by the dog while moving into the last blind.
On order of the judge, the driver is sending the dog towards the first hiding place, the dog has to get loose quickly and investigate (by running around them) the hiding places in the defined order, to the last hiding place where is the helper.
When reaching the helper, the dog should immediately and constantly bark.
The dog should not bother the helper by gripping or bumping.
When directed by the judge, the handler calls the dog. The dog must follow the command immediately. The handler now orders the helper from the hiding place, gives the order "Hands up" and commands the dog for the next exercise.
